EemsEnergyTerminal launches final phase of the Open Season

EemsEnergyTerminal starts the final phase of its Open Season process. We have invited all parties that expressed interest earlier this year to secure LNG import capacity to the TTF gas market of the Netherlands.

This milestone follows significant progress: We recently announced a strategic partnership with Belgian shipping group Exmar to support extended operations in the Eemshaven beyond September 2027.

All conditions for participation in the Open Season are now in place. Capacity allocation is currently expected in Q1 2026. In the meantime, EemsEnergyTerminal will keep working with stakeholders to ensure a stable LNG supply. This strengthens energy security in the Netherlands and Europe and builds on the record amount of LNG that was transferred in the summer of 2025.

The planned extension of operations remains subject to a positive Final Investment Decision.
