Becoming a registered user
It is at this moment possible to become a customer (‘Registered User’) in order to potentially receive services on an interruptible basis or for example in the event an unloading slot is not being used by one of EemsEnergyTerminal’s other users.
To become a Registered User of EemsEnergyTerminal, the applicant shall have to follow the following steps.
Contact
Any applicant that would like to have access to EemsEnergyTerminal’s services should contact EemsEnergyTerminal to express its interest. Applicants can express their interest by contacting EemsEnergyTerminal via [email protected]. EemsEnergyTerminal will then send a non-disclosure agreement to the applicant.
The executed non-disclosure agreement should be returned by the applicant to EemsEnergyTerminal accompanied with a letter summarizing the applicant’s interest and participation in the LNG- and gas market. Due to the confidential information that is to be shared between the parties EemsEnergyTerminal will only process any expressions of interest if and after the non-disclosure agreement has been signed by both the applicant and EemsEnergyTerminal. Please be advised that the non-disclosure agreement is a standard document applicable to all Registered Users. EemsEnergyTerminal does not accept any amendments.
Application fee and getting acquainted
After the non-disclosure agreement has been executed by the applicant, the next step is the payment of a non-refundable application fee of € 25.000 to EemsEnergyTerminal. Once EemsEnergyTerminal has received the non-disclosure agreement, EemsEnergyTerminal shall countersign the non-disclosure agreement and shall provide instructions on payment to the applicant.
Following the receipt of the payment, EemsEnergyTerminal shall conduct due diligence on the applicant (including in relation to its compliance with applicable laws) and shall invite the applicant to a meeting at its offices. After this meeting, the Terminal Use Agreement may be submitted to the applicant.
Accept contract terms
To become a Registered User, the applicant shall have to accept the contract terms, provide EemsEnergyTerminal with all relevant information and sign the Terminal Use Agreement.
Registered Users have access to the Terminal Information Website (‘TIW’) that contains amongst other the available unloading slots, Unused Unloading Slots and slots offered by other Users. Slots are to be acquired via the TIW.
