EemsEnergyTerminal at full production
EemsEnergyTerminal is ready to run at full capacity. Most of the work planned since the start in September last year has now been successfully completed. In the coming period, the terminal can supply 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.
However, developments are following in rapid succession. A month ago, it was announced that several initiatives are being worked on to increase temporary LNG import capacity in The Netherlands. This means that it is currently being investigated whether EemsEnergyTerminal's current facilities can process more LNG into gaseous natural gas. EemsEnergyTerminal's ambition is to be able to handle 9 billion cubic meters of natural gas before the end of this year, and then to grow to 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
